On The Air ALL ARTICLES 2007 SD COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION AWARDS WINNERS: TOLLEFSON, WATSON, DAWS, AND BERGESON JULY 26, 2007 The annual SD Commercial Production Awards were presented by the South Dakota Broadcasters Association (SDBA) at their annual state executive conference held July 19 & 20 at the ClubHouse Hotel & Suites in Sioux Falls, SD. First place winners were chosen in both radio and television categories and each recipient was awarded a cash prize and presented with a certificate of recognition. In the Radio Category, Mark Tollefson of Results Radio / Cumulus Media in Sioux Falls received first place honors, and Matt Watson of Performance Radio in Huron placed second for their radio commercial productions. In the Television Category, Amy Daws of KTTW-TV received first place, and Rodney Bergeson, also of KTTW-TV, received second place honors. In order to be eligible, all commercials must have aired on a member station of the SDBA at least ten times in the past year. All commercials must have been produced by a full-time employee of that station for one of their advertisers. |
